Discover a world of artistic expression at our unique and inclusive online summer camp for youth ages 13-18. CHYP’s free two-week annual summer camp is designed specifically for youth living with chronic pain and offers a safe and supportive environment where creativity knows no boundaries. With various workshops and activities catering to different artistic interests and creative healing techniques, we aim to inspire and empower young individuals to embrace their creative talents and find joy in self-expression. By participating, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to research aiming to better support youth and families living with chronic pain.
Camp runs half-day for two weeks, Monday through Thursday. When registering, please let us know your availability and any scheduling conflicts. While we aim to be flexible,it’s important for us to know in advance if you won’t be able to attend the full session.

What to Expect
From Monday to Wednesday, we offer diverse workshops encompassing various creative arts and creative healing techniques, from art, poetry, and music to meditation, guided imagery and Qigong. Our camp counselors understand the challenges associated with chronic pain and provide support to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Thursdays allow campers to showcase their creations, receive support and encouragement, and build friendships with others who share similar journeys. Our caring counselors organize engaging icebreaker activities and games, fostering understanding, socialization, and camaraderie.
