Mark Connelly, PhD, is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Research Director for Developmental and Behavioral Health at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, specializing in headache and pain management. He has over 20 years of experience as a pain psychologist, has directed multiple clinical programs, and routinely presents and publishes on pain topics.
Dr. Connelly has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications on topics related to headache and pain management, and his research has been continuously supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Arthritis Foundation, Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and the National Headache Foundation. Dr. Connelly serves on scientific review panels for the NIH and is on the editorial board of leading pain, headache, and pediatric psychology journals.
