Pelvic Pain, Period Cramps, Contraception and More

UCLA Professor Dr. Rapkin is internationally known for her work on pelvic pain in women. This webinar will highlight the state of science on women’s pain issues: period cramps, pain with intercourse, pain anywhere from labia, vagina to uterus, contraception, polycystic ovary syndrome, and more. 

Dr. Rapkin is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA. She is an expert in chronic pelvic and vulvar pain and hormonally mediated mood disorders such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder. She was one of the first to develop a multidisciplinary pelvic pain clinic for the management of chronic pelvic pain. Her research has advanced the understanding and treatment of the pathophysiology and management of dyspareunia and provoked vestibulodynia.
