About CHYP

CHYP is an online program for teens and young adults ages 13-25 years throughout the U.S. and Canada who suffer from any type of chronic pain, including headaches/migraines, abdominal pain, fibromyalgia, EDS, sickle cell disease, Crohn’s disease, and cancer. Created by Dr. Lonnie Zeltzer, 30-year Director of Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care at UCLA, the program offers support for youth with chronic pain and their parents. CHYP has an active Board of Directors and a North American Advisory Board constituted of a “who’s who” of pediatric pain specialists. Our organization takes a “Pain Plus” approach to programming, recognizing that anxiety, depression, fatigue, school absenteeism, insomnia, and eating disorders often accompany chronic pain. We provide programming regardless of participants’ race, ethnicity, gender, insurance status, and finances.

We currrently do not have any open position, but we're always looking for great people to join our volunteer teams or committees.

Interested candidates should email The CHYP Team at admin@mychyp.org Thank you!
