Mind-Body Medicine for Chronic Pain and Anxiety
- Price: FREE
In this compassionate and insightful presentation, we’ll help you understand:
- Why your child’s brain may be stuck in fight/flight/freeze mode.
- How nervous system dysregulation can manifest as chronic pain and illness.
- Steps you can take as a parent to support your child in reversing pain and reclaiming their health.
Your child has more power than you might realize to heal—and as a parent, you play a crucial role in guiding them toward relief. Join Creative Healing for Youth in Pain in our hour with Nicole Sachs, LCSW, to learn how to help your child take the first steps toward a pain-free life.
Nicole Sachs, LCSW, has worked with people worldwide for over twenty years. Originally trained by Dr. John Sarno (NYU Rusk Center for Rehabilitation), she has evolved and advanced his theories to help thousands completely release all manner of chronic pain and illness. A psychotherapist, leading Mind-Body clinician, host of The Cure for Chronic Pain podcast, and author of the upcoming book Mind Your Body, Nicole was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition and faced a future of debilitating pain. After discovering Dr. John Sarno’s work in her mid-twenties, she reclaimed her life through Mind-Body medicine. She transitioned from Sarno’s patient to his colleague, lecturing with him at NYU, supporting his patients through her private psychotherapy practice, and continuing his work.
This webinar will be moderated by Dr. Lonnie Zeltzer, MD, CHYP Founder and President. Dr. Zeltzer is an Emerita Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. As the prior founder/director of the UCLA Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Program, her impactful contributions have shaped the landscape of pediatric pain management.
