Dr. Eileen Yager says you can do this exercise as many times a day as needed. If you have muscle tenderness, this technique it may be mildly uncomfortable, but once you finish, the scalp muscles relax and headache may be relieved.

  1. Place two fingers on each side of the bridge of the nose, touching the beginning of the eyebrows. With moderate pressure, follow the eyebrows and at the temples, flip fingers up like the tips of wings. Do 3 times
  2. Place two fingers on each side of the bridge of the nose. With moderate pressure, move fingers across the forehead about 3 inches into the hairline. Do 3 times.
  3. Place two fingers on any sore spot and massage with a circular motion for 1-2 minutes, with moderate pressure.
